The colors, forms, and textures found in trees, oceans, rivers, and skies have long influenced my work as both an artist and interior designer. As the founder of Francine Murnane Interiors in Wilton, Connecticut, I’ve drawn upon this natural artistry to collaborate with talented artists and create hand-designed patterns—each one printed on the finest European fabrics and wallpapers. These designs are intended to bring refined elegance to any distinguished home, estate, or residence.

Whether I’m designing a luxury villa in Saudi Arabia, a penthouse in Cairo, a waterfront residence in Virgin Gorda, or homes in Manhattan, Beverly Hills, Montecito, or Fairfield County, my work is grounded in a sensitivity to each client’s surroundings. I love weaving together elements from the natural world—vibrant florals, oceanic hues, lush greenery—to bring a sense of place and personality into the home. All linens and textiles are milled in Italy, and our prints are hand-designed and digitally produced in studios located in the U.S., Spain, and the U.K. We take pride in being eco-conscious: our watercolor-inspired designs are digitally printed, reducing waste and minimizing our environmental impact.
